Just as it was 2000 years ago, it is today. Lawyers, Lawmakers and Supreme Court Justice's make laws that are burdensome to the masses, but often they are exempt from them. I would not want to be the Supreme Court Justices on Judgment day and try to explain why they sided with the Child Molesters in California, Sodomites in Texas and the Abortion Docters in Floridia.

It is in vain, sir, to extenuate the matter. Gentlemen may cry, Peace, Peace-- but there is no peace [Jer. 6:14]. The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle [Matt. 20:6]? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! It is interesting to note that the founders of the United States of America freely used scripture in their normal conversations. It was a part of their lives and it is the foundation on which this country was built.
